Gradings

SLEEVE/VINYL GRADED SEPARATELY. SLEEVE GRADED FIRST

We do not have a 'Mint' category as we believe it is near impossible to claim something is in this condition when it could be 20 or 30 years old.
If a record is sealed we will state this and assume it is unplayed.

ACTUAL GRADINGS
EX+ Practically as new. No writing; marks; ring-wear; tears or creases. In a clean state despite having been played. Very well cared for.
EX Broadly the record/sleeve is in extremely good condition. If there are visible marks and/or slight sound defects these would be noted.
VG+ It is obvious the record has been played and the sleeve shows some signs of age. The record will have visible, though insignificant marks and the sleeve will show the beginnings of corner damage. But the record/sleeve would have been cared for over the years and be very presentable. In general, VG+ would reflect somebody who had played their records but made sure they were cared for and properly stored.
VG The record would be marked, but not extensively or deeply and the sleeve, particularly the edges/spine, would show signs of obvious wear. But the record/sleeve would still be acceptable for somebody who wanted the record and did not mind some sound/visual defects.
F There would be more extensive visible wear and/or damage to the record/sleeve. We might advertise 'F' where for eg. the record is EX/VG+ or VG but the sleeve is much more badly damaged or vice versa. In general, we would not normally offer a record or sleeve in this condition accept in circumstances where the item has such rarity value that it should not be missed.
N.B. There will be instances where the general overall condition of a sleeve or label is EX or VG+ but either could have a slight tear (TOS/L) or some writing (WOS/L) on it. In which case the extent of this will be noted; eg. small;ink marks; smears, etc.

Where mistakes occur and you feel that you have received a misgraded record please return it to us in reasonable time and we will refund you the cost +postage.

AS IT IS A NEAR IMPOSSIBILITY TO CHECK EVERY LISTED RECORD FOR ITS ENTIRE SOUND QUALITY WE GUARANTEE A FULL REFUND (including all postage) IF THE SOUND/VISUAL QUALITY IS IN ANY WAY UNSATISFACTORY.
